The fanback armchair is the most roomy and well suited for either reading by the fireplace or sitting at the dining table. Scrolled hands and handcarved crest are standard. The tailpiece and bracing spindles add a striking design element.
Windsor chairs and other fine furniture handcrafted in the 18th Century American Tradition
In the "sackback" the arm and the bow are separate (unlike the continuous arm chair). Handcarved spindles pierce the arm and the bow. Sackbacks have an oval carved seat. Available in many milk paint and custom colors. Shown with baluster or "vase" legs and stretchers in Barn red (L) and Windsor Green (R)

Welsh Stick Chair/ Leopold Legacy Chair
This is a special design based on the Welsh stick chair but more refined and with a strong "H" stretcher system as an undercarriage. The wood is native cherry and red maple.
